New Jersey residents bear the brunt of CWA deal

The only people that think the CWA deal is beneficial are Corzine and the CWA.

As with the four-year contract Corzine negotiated with the state’s unions two years ago, he gave away more than taxpayers can afford. And as has been his pattern during his four-year term, he opted for the easy way out, one that placates the unions but saddles New Jersey residents with even greater financial burdens down the road.

Even more egregious is the cover up by the CWA, refusing to abide by a state law requiring ALL public contracts to be filed with the state Public Employee Relations Commission, which posts them on its Web site. NONE of the four-year contracts negotiated with the CWA in 2007 are online.
