Corzine announces rail service to Glassboro

It’s the law of averages. Even the worst administrators have to do something right once in a while. Corzine announced the expansion of the PATCO rail line routes south to Glassboro, NJ.

Glassboro is home to Rowan State University. The expanded service is the first step in bringing public transportation to the Bay Shore area of south Jersey, Cumberland County. This is good news.

Cumberland County is the most depressed county in the state. While it is served by several state highways and a major river, the only way for many people to travel to either Camden if they are called for jury duty, or to Philadelphia if they want a real job is to drive or take a two hour bus trip.
