NJ Taxpayers pay dead woman

Only in New Jersey – as reported at Philly.com today, NJ taxpayers have been paying a dead woman for two years for a program that probably doesn’t exist.

TRENTON, N.J. – New Jersey taxpayers have spent $400,000 since 2003 on a program designed to teach children about growing food in space.

The executive director of the nonprofit program died two years ago. But the annual payments have continued.
