Defending Christie’s record

Alan Steinberg of PolitickerNJ.com offers a clear and informed opinion of the allegations that Christie was less than upright as Attorney General.

As U.S. Attorney for New Jersey, Chris Christie stepped on the toes of some extremely powerful people in his efforts to eliminate corruption in the Garden State.  Accordingly, he had to expect that friends of individuals he sent to jail would seek revenge by resorting to character assassination if he ran for Governor.

He claims Christie’s detractors ” have no facts to form the basis of a negative character offensive against the former U.S. Attorney.” The article is a lengthy but informative read.
