Lonegan is too far “right” to ever win New Jersey

NJ.com:

Steve Lonegan, who got an early jump in the Republican race for governor, has launched a nearly $500,000 advertising blitz aimed introducing himself to the GOP even before his chief rival, former U.S. Attorney Christopher Christie, formally kicks off his campaign.

In the spot, an announcer calls Lonegan “the best choice to beat Jon Corzine” and a “fighter for taxpayers.” In a swipe at the governor’s wealth and his plans to self-fund his re-election effort, Lonegan says in the commercial: “Jon Corzine’s money doesn’t scare me. I scare him.”

  1. BobbyRomano Says:

What makes Lonegan “too far right”?

  2. His stand on woman’s rights/abortion for one. His stand on gay marriage.

New Jersey is such a liberal state that any Republican, despite claims of being a “social liberal” must be very middle of the road to even have a chance.

A democrat has a better chance of being elected with the “wrong” side of those views than any Republican, unfortunately.

Of course, I have been wrong before!

  3. I do not drop many remarks, but after browsing through a lot of responses here Lonegan is too
far right to ever win New Jersey | JonCorzineWatch.com.
I do have a few questions for you if you do not mind.
Is it just me or do a few of these remarks look like they are left by brain dead people?
😛 And, if you are posting at additional places, I’d like to keep up with you.
