Say No-ah, to COAH!

Tri-Town News carried this story:

State Sen. Jennifer Beck (R-Monmouth and Mercer) has called on the Corzine administration to abandon its legal defense of the failed subsidized housing policies of the state Council on Affordable Housing (COAH) and to work with legislators of both political parties on a bipartisan solution to the escalating COAH issue.

The New Jersey State League of Municipalities has gone to court to challenge the Corzine administration’s affordable housing plans, which the league claims would result in “overwhelming financial burdens on property-tax payers.”

“I applaud the League of Municipalities for standing up to an administration that has tossed out two decades of cooperation on housing issues in favor of inflexible confrontation,” Beck said in a press release.
